Alors dans la série "pour aller plus loin", et en anglais please (c'est une question posée à Erik sur son parcours musical et ses réponses; c'est intéressant tu verras):
"Erik Martensson's inspiration:
My inspiration come mainly from 70' and 80's groups such as Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen, Europe and Toto. There is so many good bands I could spend an hour writing them down :)
I like the sound from the 70's, 80's and 90's recordings but I tend lean over towards the 80's productions for my personal taste.
I also listen to a lot of classical baroque music like Bach, Vivaldi, Telemann and Händel. (Bach is my favorite) My interest for classical music came when I started listening to Yngwie and saw what he had been influensed by.
My favorite guitarist is of course Yngwie Malmsteen, no doubt about it. His excellent technique blended with his enormous feeling and taste is the best. If you don't have any YJM records, go buy one! I can highly recommend his first solo record, Yngwie J. Malmsteen's Rising Force from 1984.
Other great guitarists are Richie Blackmoore, (Deep Purple), John Petrucci, (Dream Theater), Jimmy Page, (Led Zeppelin) Michael Schenker, (MSG, Scorpions), Ace Frehley, (Kiss) and of course the master Jimi Hendrix.
Some of my favorite singers are Glenn Hughes, (Deep Purple, Phenomena...), David Byron, (Uriah Heep), Joey Tempest, (Europe), David Coverdale, (Deep Purple, Whitsnake) and Bobby Kimball, (Toto).
The best keyboard/hammond player in the world must be Jon Lord, (Deep Purple).
